"I've been able to return to work, I have more knowledge about my body and movements, and am able to do activities I want to do again. My overall health is better and I can take care of my symptoms myself."
- Monty

“I was very skeptical at first about yoga therapy and it took a while for my mindset to change. Once I started consistently following the exercises, the stretching, the breathing and other calming suggestions from each session, I started to see progress and feel hopeful.  The anxiety over my health setback from the MVA was a big obstacle and yoga therapy helped me stay positive and take small steps in the right direction.  My insomnia has lessened, especially on the days I do my exercise routine.  I still have muscle pain and probably always will since the injuries were severe, but yoga therapy has helped me cope with chronic pain, not relying on pain medications as much as in the past.  My digestive issues have improved, again directly related to the exercise routine and that is helping me control my weight.  My blood pressure is slowly stabilizing and although marginally higher than pre-MVA, it is not spiking like immediately after the accident.  Yoga therapy has reduced overall anxiety post-MVA and helped my mental, emotional and physical health.  My attitude towards yoga therapy was initially ‘a necessary chore’ to now ‘an enjoyable moment of self care in my busy day."

“Yoga therapy has assisted me with better movement and isolation of my body parts and joints. I have more fluid movement in all my day-to-day activities. I have arthritis and inflammation issues in my body and yoga therapy helps with all this as well."
